Aglow and Burning Serving the Lord
As I write this letter, I am more convinced than ever that we are truly living in the last days. Every day prophecy is being fulfilled. In Matthew 24, the Lord Jesus gave us signs to look for as these end-time days would come upon us. We are seeing many of these things happening now on an almost everyday occurrence. It is so important that we know what we must do to not just survive these things but to be used by the Lord to stand against the devils attacks and be those who bring forth God's light in a world of darkness.
In the midst of the Lord giving us these teachings of all the trouble that was coming, He also gave us instructions on what we are to do. In verse 13 and 14, He said, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
It is not only the Lord's will that we survive these days, but that we rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and be overcomers. In verse 13, the word endure means to persevere, stand strong, to have fortitude. This must be a time where we live a no compromise, all in life of faith and commitment to our walk of faith with the Lord. The reason being is found in verse 14. The Lord is calling out to every believer to stand in the gap, make up the wall and be a voice proclaiming His Gospel to this end-times generation.
This is not a time to shrink back into fear. This is our time to rise up in the Name of the Lord Jesus and bring in His last days harvest. Romans 12:11 says "Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord." To keep ourselves aglow and burning serving the Lord we must stay full of God's Word and full of the Holy Spirit.
As Bonnie and I go to the different churches and minister, we believe our mandate is to help churches experience times of refreshing and for believers to be renewed and filled up with the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. When believers are aglow and burning serving the Lord, revival is sure to come.
I want to thank you for standing with me as my New Life Team Partner. Your prayers and financial support are helping us to take the Word and the Spirit to the Church to help release revival and the Kingdom of God in the hearts and lives of the people.
As I close, I want to encourage you to stand strong and endure so you can be a voice and a light of the Lord shining in the darkness. I encourage you to listen to this month's message, "Aglow and Burning Serving the Lord." I believe it is a timely message. I also encourage you to be strong in your prayers of intercession for our nation and for the nation of Israel. Prayer, prayed in faith releases the power of God.
Once again, thank you for being my partner. Bonnie and I are busy right up to the Christmas Holidays. We are thankful for the open doors to preach this great Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
I want you to know that you're always in our prayers and I continue to pray that God's very best will be yours.
